Today was kind of a relaxing day in and around the resort. We started the day off with a little bit of a sleep in. Slowly climbed out of bed and into the shower only to realize that my legs were itchy. Yes extremely itchy! Apparently I didn't apply bug spray often enough yesterday on our tour. Not a good thing at all! On the way to the doctor, for drugs, we stopped by the car rental place and rented a 4x4 Sukuzi Jimmy for Sunday to head down to Tamirindo. Were going to be driving on what the locals call "The Monkey Trail" to Tamirindo. We wanted to go today but I was in no shape. The guy recommended us rent a GPS too because of the back roads that we will be taking. Should be a blast to drive these roads and to eat with the locals. After I got my drugs we headed for breakfast and then on to a water taxi to Coco Beach. A little village surrounded by condos overlooking the ocean. What a fastinating little place. Lots of shopping and places to eat. A little different than anywhere we have been. Then it was back to our resort for a half a day pool activities. Sun tanning, relaxing, eating and drinkin! Again monkey (13) watching in the afternoon in the lounge by the pool was spectacular!! It is the highlite of Joannes trip. Joanne found her new favorite drink "Dirty Monkey". Were going to dinner and then to the evening show "Michael Jackson" and then to bed for another early morning tomorrow. Tomorrows tour is White Water Rafting! Should be interesting.
Here's a few things that we have learned while visiting Costa Rica:
90% of there energy produced is by renewable energy. Geo-thermo from the Volcanos, Hydro Power and Wind Turbines.
They have over 3000 earthquakes a year here. Most of them not felt!
Costa Rica has the second largest number of Volcanoes in a country.
Mike should not take pics of monkeys without bugspray when you are deep in the jungle....!!!!

Me and Stacey were just sitting around complaining that you guys get to go all the cool places and we have to stay home.
Anyways, I got your stupid mail, but just to let you know I will NEVER get up early again....especially when you dont even have your times that they are open correct!!!!! Also the new black wii controller we got is pretty cool....if we were smart enough to figure out how to connect it we might be able to use it. Mom, wait until you see the letter i got from RDC, you'll be so proud...I HOPE!!! Midterms are finally over for a week. I did good on my astro one! Anyways im off to work. Hopefully you have a good time white water rafting and Mike doesnt drown!!!
